Vile Bodies 03:19

about

Vile Bodies is named for the 1930 Evelyn Waugh novel of the same name, a razor-sharp satire of decadent and frivolous London society unaware or uncaring of looming disaster. Since there’s nothing decadent or frivolous about our society, and nothing but bright times on the horizon, I have yet to figure out a way to connect these themes to contemporary life.

Waugh’s inspiration from the title is drawn from the Bible originally, the line quoted here: :”Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body?”

This album deals with religion, sex and sexuality, power, impending doom, and it’s just all about me and my issues so strap in.
